Chelsea Renee Scofield
Currently a junior at Ball State University studying magazine journalism, Chelsea accepts and embraces her addiction to music and journalism. She’s from a small town in Northwest Indiana, known as Griffith. Her first love has and will always be music and the local music scene. Chelsea started BRP because she wanted to give a voice to the East Central Indiana music scene and promote the hardworking musicians there. This past summer, Chelsea moved to Cleveland for an editorial internship at Alternative Press and it was nothing short of amazing.

Hailing from Chicago, Lina is a junior photojournalism major currently studying at Ball State University. In addition to her music addiction, she enjoys writing, photography and horseback riding. Although those closest to Lina profess her to be a “grammar nazi”, she prefers the term “grammar enthusiast”.

Lauren Van Houwe
Lauren is from Eureka, IL. She graduated with a Graphic Design and Arts degree from Illinois Central College. She hopes to pursue these dreams by doing art and design within the music industry. Fun fact: she has been going to shows since she was six years old! Currently Lauren lives in Morton, Illinois and attends local shows in the central Illinois scene. She enjoys drawing and photography which she does at local shows as well. Lauren is very unique and universal when speaking of shows because she is very helpful behind the scenes such as photography, promotion and running sound. Blessed into the region, Kelsie is a freshman at Indiana University Northwest, studying communications and media production. Prior to her admittance at IUN, Kelsie attended Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy where she studied Film + Media Production. She takes music and her scene seriously and shoots professional photography at every local show she attends. Aside from music and photography, Kelsie enjoys lifting heavy weights, exploring Chicago, and eating pizza.
